New Open Studio policy in effect

§  You can now attend an open studio in either studio during weeks 1 - 7.

§  Check in with the monitor, borrow the studio fob to collect your clay and tools from your class studio if the OS is not where you take classes.

§  Lock the door behind you, make sure you have the fob, and return to the other studio for the session. Return the fob

§  All students will work where the monitor is posted on the calendar.  No exceptions.

§  During clean-up, borrow the fob and return your work, your tools and clay back to your studio.

§  Ask how to clean in this studio. Allow 25 min for clean-up.

§  The exception is Glazing.  All glazing must be done in the studio where you take classes! No exceptions.  This is because each studio has different glazes that behave differently, and we want your work to be it's best! 

§  Monitors cannot get you clay. Plan ahead.

§  Always triple check the calendar on our website before you drive in.  We do our best, but things happen, and OS is canceled or changed.

§  Be considerate of the monitor’s time.  This is not an instruction period.  They are either artists or staff and multitasking. Not sure how to do something? Leave that project for class

§  Cleanup after OS can be less than great.  Reminder: clean with clean sponges and water, mop the studio and all places you were with CLEAN WATER! and leave it better than you found it!
