Our clay workshops are perfect for an afternoon to yourself to recharge, a girls' day out, a family outing, or creative time with coworkers. Our studio is fun and welcoming.

Have you ever wanted to try the potter's wheel? We've created a fun, 3-hour workshop just for you! You'll get instruction and hands-on practice with 5 pieces of clay for the steps to center, open, throw on the wheel, and clean up (gotta experience the whole process, right?). Most people create a piece or two, but everyone can claim they tried it! Come back in 4 weeks to pick up your fired glazed piece(s).
These book up well in advance, so keep checking! We're always adding more!
We will do our best to get your pieces through the two firings. However, the process can be hard on pieces, and not everything comes out. It's the experience that matters, not perfection.

Who? Teens 12+ and adults – all levels
3-hour workshop
When? Saturday October 18th 2 - 5 pm and November 30th 1 -4 pm
Join the fun in this popular workshop and make 2 vibrant pieces! First, choose your hand-building templates if you want a mug or travel cup, or create your own trinket dish design. Then add a pop of color with underglazes and patterns by our friends at Elan Transfers. This is your time to be unique and let go! We will fire to bisque and then clear glaze them for you. Pickup time is 4 weeks.

When? Two 3-hour classes - October 23rd & 30th 6 -9 pm
It's wedding and holiday gift planning season! Learn to use the Cricut design application and make a customized pottery piece. Make monograms for the new bride and groom or a fun plate. We will provide the biscware and Cricut instruction, including how to leverage the Kennett Library Makerspace to cut your designs. *Members and current students get 20% off this class. A New Charcuterie Set
Who? Teens 12+ and adults – all levels
3-hour workshop

This year we have the charcuterie set that is blowing up instagram! Perfect for small entertaining. Choose either a structured plate of this freeform style. The set includes a slab-built plate, small bowl, and spoon. Add your own personal style with texture rollers or stamps. You will choose a glaze color from our wide selection and pick it up after we fire and glaze it in about 3-4 weeks.

Last year these took over our studio! Gnomes are charming for Holiday decor & year round. Make a 8" gnome and a buddy 4" size. You'll create their personalities with underglazes, adding little features like pockets, braids, birds and patterned robes. We will clear glaze them and have back to you in about 3 weeks.

Choose 2 ornaments. We will demonstrate the small house, textured bird, ribbon bird, snowflake and flower. You choose 3 to create. We will getthem back in 3-4 weeks so come early!

Welcome back, autumn! Who doesn't love making these! You don't have to know anything about pottery. We will demonstrate and work alongside you as you make a special fall decoration. Have fun with it! Classic pumpkin, funky gourd...you decide! You will choose a glaze color from our fall glaze collection and pick it up after we fire and glaze it in about 4 weeks. Current students receive 20% off this workshop.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY FOR WORKSHOPS
We accept cancellations 48 hours or more before the workshop start time for a 94% refund or a vouher valid for 12 months. Refunds are not offered for cancellations, or reschedule reqests within 48 hours. Also, we require a minimum number of students to hold a workshop. We will notify you within 2 days of the workshop's start time and refund 100% of the price if the workshop cannot be held.
Thank you for understanding. Our instructors schedule far in advance and we want to be respectful of their time.
