Our clay workshops are perfect for an afternoon to yourself to recharge, a girls' day out, a family outing, or creative time with coworkers. Our studio is fun and welcoming.

Have you ever wanted to try the potter's wheel? We've created a fun, 3-hour workshop just for you! You'll get instruction and hands-on practice with 5 pieces of clay for the steps to center, open, throw on the wheel, and clean up (gotta experience the whole process, right?). Most people create a piece or two, but everyone can claim they tried it! Come back in 4 weeks to pick up your fired glazed piece(s).
These book up well in advance, so keep checking! We're always adding more!
We will do our best to get your pieces through the two firings. However, the process can be hard on pieces, and not everything comes out. It's the experience that matters, not perfection.

Elevate Your Hand-Built Pottery with Color & Patterns

3-hour workshop
When? Sunday November 30th 1 - 4 pm
Join the fun in this popular workshop and make 2 vibrant pieces! First, choose your hand-building templates if you want a mug or travel cup, or create your own trinket dish design. Then add a pop of color with underglazes and patterns by our friends at Elan Transfers. This is your time to be unique and let go! We will fire to bisque and then clear glaze them for you. Pickup time is 4 weeks.

A New Charcuterie Set!

When? December 14th , December 27th. Check back - more dates will be announced
This year we have the charcuterie set that's perfect for small entertaining (and is blowing up Instagram)! Choose either a structured plate or this freeform style. The set includes a slab-built plate, small bowl, and spoon. Add your own personal style with texture rollers or stamps. You will choose a glaze color from our wide selection and pick it up after we fire and glaze it in about 3-4 weeks.

Mystical Gnome-vember (and December too)
Who? Teens 12+ and adults – all levels
3-hour workshop
When? Nov 30th, Dec 7th. Check back, more dates will be announced
Last year these took over our studio! Gnomes are charming for holiday decor & year round. Make a 8" gnome and a buddy 4" size. You'll create their personalities with underglazes, adding little features like pockets, braids, birds and patterned robes. We will clear glaze them and have back to you in about 3 weeks.

Make & Gift Ornaments this Holiday

When? 11/28
Pick 3 out of our 4 styles. We will demonstrate the small house, textured bird, ribbon bird, snowflake, and flower. We will use a white clay so they look beauritful natural or add pops of festive color with underglazes. We will get them back in 3 weeks, so come early!

Luminary Workshop:
Create your own glowing home decor
Who? Teens 12+ and adults – all levels
3-hour workshop
When? Friday 11/28 and Sunday, 12/28
Light up your home with a handmade clay luminary. You'll design and create a unique decorative light for your home using handbuilding with slabs. Create a candleholder or tree shaped lantern with your light design using tools to create different shaped holes that cast beautiful patterns of light. these make great winter home decor after the Holidays.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY FOR WORKSHOPS
We accept cancellations 48 hours or more before the workshop start time for a 94% refund or a vouher valid for 12 months. Refunds are not offered for cancellations, or reschedule reqests within 48 hours. Also, we require a minimum number of students to hold a workshop. We will notify you within 2 days of the workshop's start time and refund 100% of the price if the workshop cannot be held.
Thank you for understanding. Our instructors schedule far in advance and we want to be respectful of their time.
